These terms and conditions apply to all offers, transactions and agreements in which Berg en Baan acts as seller or intermediary for the purchase and sale of used bicycles.

All prices are in euros (€) and are collection prices. The price is based on collection at our location in Son en Breugel, North Brabant. Any shipping or transport costs are agreed separately and are not included in the listed price.

All bikes are described as accurately as possible. Minor deviations in colour or specification due to photographic representation are not grounds for cancellation or price reduction.

Payment is due before or upon collection of the bike, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods: cash, bank transfer or payment request (iDEAL / Tikkie).

Buyers are expressly invited to inspect the bike before purchase at our location in Son en Breugel. Berg en Baan deals in used bicycles. No manufacturer warranty applies unless explicitly stated in the listing. Visible signs of use are inherent to second-hand products.

Hidden defects that could not reasonably be discovered during inspection will be resolved in consultation. Complaints must be reported within 48 hours of collection by email or WhatsApp.

Given the nature of second-hand goods and the opportunity for prior inspection, no right of return is offered, unless the bike is demonstrably misdescribed or has a hidden defect.

Berg en Baan only purchases bikes that meet our criteria: maximum 3 to 4 years old, premium brand, good condition, and demonstrably owned by the seller (proof of purchase in seller's name).

Offering a stolen bike or submitting a false proof of purchase will always be reported to the police.

Berg en Baan is not liable for damage resulting from use of the purchased bike after delivery, unless caused by intent or gross negligence. Indirect or consequential damage is excluded.

Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Oost-Brabant, the Netherlands.
