Description

The Epic World Cup is the cross-country racer with which Specialized did away with the lockout lever. The RockShox SID SL with Brain damper senses for itself when the ground turns rough and opens and closes automatically — you never flick a lever again and lose no watts on the climb. 110 mm of travel up front, 75 mm at the rear, in a full carbon frame. It runs Roval Control carbon wheels and shifts with SRAM GX Eagle Transmission: wireless, with the derailleur mounted straight to the frame instead of to a vulnerable hanger. A Ground Control up front and a Fast Trak at the rear — more grip on wet and loose ground, at the cost of a fraction of rolling resistance. Size L, for riders of roughly 178 to 188 cm.
